How Bradford Pride 2026 is happening
Bradford Pride is going ahead this year. And that is only possible because Equity Partnership has taken on the financial burden of delivering the event, with a small team of people working behind the scenes to make it happen.
This year there has been no support from the council and no wider external backing. Just a very small group of people who refused to let Bradford Pride disappear, putting in their own time, energy and goodwill so the city still has its Pride.
There will inevitably be views about what has happened in previous years. But right now, that is not what matters. What matters is what happens next.
If Bradford Pride is going to survive and grow into something sustainable, things have to change. It cannot continue to rely on a tiny number of people carrying an overwhelming amount of work, responsibility and financial risk.
Bradford Pride needs its community, its businesses, its organisations and its allies to get behind it. That might mean sponsoring next year's Pride, joining the organising team, volunteering, offering professional skills, supporting fundraising, providing a venue or equipment, or simply opening doors and making introductions.
You do not need to know exactly how you can help yet. Tell us what you, your organisation or your business might be able to contribute to the future of Bradford Pride.
Six hours of live music, drag and dance on the City Park main stage — all completely free.
